We take the Bible as our authority for what we should believe and how we should operate as a church. We believe that the Bible is God’s word, and is trustworthy. See the what we believe page to read the key beliefs which the Bible teaches.

We are run independently – that means we run ourselves, and are responsible for our own finances and are not responsible to or reliant on any larger church organisation. However, we do not operate that way because we want to be isolated from other likeminded believers in Jesus, and therefore we are members of both Solent Gospel Partnership and the FIEC.

In 2007 a new phase of the church began through a close partnership with Alverstoke Evangelical Church, also in Gosport, who were able to give valuable support and resources to enable the church to revitalize. Although ongoing support is no longer required, our friendship with AEC remains strong and some of our church activites are run jointly.
